Mound City Little League Announces Separation from Licking County Shrine Tournament
Mound City Little League announces that it will no longer serve as the host site or organizational partner for the annual Licking County Shrine Tournament. Both organizations have agreed to move forward independently, a decision made in mutual understanding and respect.
Mound City Little League remains committed to its mission of providing youth in the community with the opportunity to play baseball and softball at no cost. By focusing resources and facilities on league programming, Mound City continues to ensure that every child has access to the game, regardless of financial circumstances.
While the Shrine Tournament explores new venues to continue its event, Mound City will concentrate on expanding opportunities for local athletes, strengthening community engagement, and maintaining facilities dedicated to league play.
This separation reflects a shared recognition that each organization can best serve its goals by operating independently. Mound City Little League expresses gratitude for the years of collaboration and looks forward to continuing its role as a cornerstone of youth sports in Licking County.
